Euroguidance Webinar “Covid as an unprecedented disruption: Lessons learnt on the future shaping of careers?”.
We are pleased to announce that the Euroguidance Network within the scope of the activities of the main task group for competencies development will be hosting a webinar “Covid as an unprecedented disruption: Lessons learnt on the future shaping of careers?”.
Covid-19 was an unexpected global instance that shook the social and economic fabrics of many countries. While changes in the world of work have been documented for over 3 decades, the pandemic has significantly accelerated this change creating a rift between the questions we asked and the answers we got back: What will the employment topography look like? Is working from home temporary or a new way of employment? How will technology and AI shape careers and professions in the post-pandemic period? What are the skills that young people need to develop in order to be relevant in the new world of work? These are some of the topics and issues that will be discussed with the participants during the session. They are perhaps questions that require re-defining certain phenomena or simply require a re-adaptation to manage them.
The webinar will be held on Friday 26th April at 11am (CET) via MS Teams platform. If you are interested in participating, please register here https://forms.office.com/e/VUFbKHbwzc. Registration deadline is April 22nd at 23.59 CET
